The Heat Guard light panels are produced with an aluminium pigment incorporated into the polycarbonate. This pigment ensures that solar radiation heat is reflected. Depending on the desired light transmission and heat protection, the roof panels are available in four versions: Corrugated sheets 177/51 types: HG25, HG50 and HG100. Flat implementation: HG Flat – 32 mm, 16% light transmission. Some key characteristics of our Heat Guard light panels include: The translucent Lightroof Systems panels are stronger than fibre-cement corrugated sheets and are easy to install due to their light weight. The translucent panels are also extremely well suited for roof renovation and new buildings. We are also accustomed to supplying the panels in combination with sandwich panels or solar panels. The panels are thermally insulated, classified in fire protection category B-s1-d0, and are impact and hail-resistant. The profile is the same as corrugated sheet 177/51 with a 6.5 wave profile. Installing many light panels and therefore making increased use of daylight will reduce your energy bill because you will need less artificial light. Naturally, the reduced energy consumption benefits the climate, as well as animal welfare. The panels are protected using a special UV-resistant coextrusion layer. Adding aluminium pigment prevents direct sunlight from entering. Conversely, it also reduces the amount of artificial light that escapes to the outside, thus reducing light pollution. Our HG 32 mm is very popular for creating natural lighting sections in roofs or walls because it prevents the discolouration of stored products by filtering out direct sunlight.
